Cindy Larabie est une travailleuse sociale bilingue, membre de l’Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des
thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ), qui a à son actif plus de 30 ans de pratique.

Son approche se veut chaleureuse, directe et interactive. Elle est reconnue pour aborder les situations et défis qui lui sont présentés avec créativité et humour.  Elle mise sur les forces de la personne qu'elle accompagne au sein d’un environnement accueillant et décontracté.


De plus elle détentrice de nombreux diplômes et certificats, notamment en enseignement et en hypnothérapie. Elle utilise une variété de techniques d’intervention, tant traditionnelles que plus contemporaines, ceci dans le but d’adapter les interventions afin qu’elles rencontrent au mieux les besoins spécifiques de chaque client.


Dans son rôle d’intervenante, elle a à cœur de vous aider à développer vos aptitudes émotionnelles, comportementales et relationnelles dans le but d’améliorer votre situation. Grâce au cheminement que vous ferez ensemble, son souhait est que vous soyez en mesure d’atteindre vos objectifs.

 

Ms. Larabie is a fully bilingual interventionist with an educational and training background in Sociology, Psychology and Social Work. She was a member of the Ontario Association of Professional Social Workers for several years, where she served as their Executive Vice-President and the President of their francophone committee.

Today, Ms Larabie is a member in good standing of theQuebec Order of Professional Social Workers.


As a clinical practitioner/psychotherapist, Ms. Larabie has worked for over 30 years in the area of personal, social and organizational health. This has included:

counselling, CISD and PTSD interventions, workplace mediation, training, management consultation, organizational needs assessment, etc. Her work has included the provision of well over 500 trauma interventions, to a variety of client’s groups and representing a wide gamut of challenging scenarios. Her skills have also led her towards the development and provision of therapeutic group interventions to victims of violence and trauma.
 

Ms Larabie’s work experience has also included an extensive focus on facilitating individuals and organizations towards growth and wellness, through the development and delivery of presentations, workshops and training material. Much of this training has been tailored to respond to the identified needs of various target groups.
A number of these projects were large initiatives.

In one such initiative, Ms Larabie developed a two-day training program on Stress Management for employees at
Revenue Canada and provided this training to close to 500 participants over the course of three years. The program was successful and generated exceptionally positive feedback. Ms Larabie has also served as Curriculum Developer and Professor in the area of Social Studies at College Boreal in Sudbury, where she provided instruction in French. During the past years alone, Ms Larabie has delivered over 500 presentations and workshops, developed training materials, presented theories and practices related to adult learning and taught or trained thousands of adults and professionals.
